About Us
Empowering Youth and Communities Through Music
and the Performing Arts
At Florida Youth at Risk (FYAR), we are dedicated to transforming the lives of youth aged 12 to 25 and strengthening underserved communities through the empowering arts of uplifting, feel-good music and live performance. As a nonprofit organization, we believe in the life-changing power of music—not only for individuals but for families and entire communities.
Our Mission
We empower youth to reach their full potential through transformative experiences in music, stage production, and live performance. By combining accessible arts education with mentorship in financial literacy and mental wellness, we equip young people with essential life skills—confidence, resilience, creativity, and collaboration. Our programs create inclusive spaces where underrepresented youth can discover their voice, strengthen their well-being, and build a foundation for personal and financial stability. Through the arts, we cultivate healthier, more vibrant, and equitable communities.
Vision
We envision a future where every young person—regardless of background—has equitable access to sustainable careers in the arts and entertainment industry. By combining creative opportunity with financial literacy, mental wellness, and mentorship, we’re cultivating a diverse generation of resilient and empowered creative leaders.
