About the FYAR Board of Directors

The FYAR Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, supports fundraising initiatives, and strengthens programs that serve underserved youth across Florida. Board members help guide organizational growth, provide governance oversight, and promote partnerships that expand FYAR’s impact in local communities.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Commitment to FYAR’s mission and youth empowerment

  • Experience in education, social services, business, HR, or nonprofit leadership

  • Ability to attend monthly board meetings

  • Strong communication and advisory skills

  • Desire to support fundraising and community partnerships

Responsibilities

  • Attend and engage in monthly board meetings

  • Provide strategic guidance and governance

  • Support fundraising and donor outreach

  • Participate in committees as needed

  • Serve as an ambassador for FYAR in the community
